If you’re feeling burned out, I totally get it. In fact, for years, I had a dirty little secret. 

I knew I needed to take better care of myself.

But even though I really knew what to do – I had worked in the health space as a personal trainer and nutrition educator for years…

…I still struggled to stop eating all the treats and stay consistent with my own workouts and self-care routines! I hoped no one found me out – I felt like such a fraud!

The truth is, we all know what we need to do, right? 

But!… at the end of the day, knowing isn’t enough.

So often we struggle to stay consistent and find time for the things that really matter to us.

And as moms, it’s so easy to put ourselves last and tell ourselves, “I’ll just figure it out!” Which usually means sacrificing something important like our health, sleep, or peace of mind (or all of the above). 

What I’ve learned was I didn’t need any overly complicated organizational system to get things done, another menu plan to stay on track, have my family on board, or even have a certain TYPE of personality to get things done…

I just needed to change three things: 1. what I believed was possible for myself. 2. I had to get crystal clear on what my priorities were for my life. And 3. start living from those priorities.

140. How to Reach Seemingly Unattainable Goals

Have you ever felt like you’re doing all the things to reach a goal, but you’re super frustrated and discouraged with results?

I was there just this last week. In fact, I even said to one of my coaches, “Oh my goodness! I feel like I’ve tried everything.” And she said, “Ok, slow your roll. We’ve tried 2 things.”

She was right. We all have a little brain drama from time to time, amiright?! And THIS – the brain drama – is what feels so exhausting if we let it get away from us.

So in this week’s episode, I’m sharing build some mental muscles – like recognize which “Emotional Zone” you’re in and which one you need to be in to reach your goal – so you can keep moving forward toward your goals without burning out or giving up.

It might not feel like it, but you CAN quit quitting on yourself, putting yourself last, and operating from ‘supposed to’ as a mom without the guilt.
