Do you fail ahead of time?

Let me give a common example of what this looks like.

You have the best intentions when you set a goal that you will show up for yourself, you’ll follow through… THIS time you’ll reach the finish line!  You can feel it!

But then…

…this little voice creeps in from somewhere in the back of your mind that says,

“Oh! I know exactly how this is going to go: in the beginning you’re going to try really hard, you’ll do really well for a while, then something will happen and you’ll stop… You know this isn’t going to work, so why bother?!”

Eventually you decide if failure is inevitable, (and you *know* it is because you’ve got a lot of ‘proof’ from past experiences) you might as well just throw in the towel right now.

So… You fail ahead of time.

Of course this is all done subconsciously, but hopefully you can see why this NEVER works.

Your brain thinks: I’ve got it! Instead of ‘wasting’ all that time, energy, and money to reach a goal, I can get a head start on failing and do it now!

If this is you, STOP right there!  Here’s the problem:

You are looking to your past for evidence on how things will play out in the future. And it seems logical.  It seems like you’re just saving yourself all the heartache and pain of failing.

But thinking that your future is determined by your past is a load of bull.

What IS true is knowing that your future is a blank slate.  You can create whatever you want moving forward, REGARDLESS of what’s happened in your past.

You might be thinking, “that’s great, Janeen, but how do you actually do that?”

Well, I’m so glad you asked!  🙂

This week’s podcast episode is all about how to overcome your past by connecting with your future self – the one who HAS reached all the goals – and how to live into THAT energy and relationship to get what you want long-term.

Here’s the truth: When you learn how to BECOME your future self now, you’ll know how to manifest the results you’re looking for.  Not the other way around.

You’ve got this, mama!  I’ll see you inside.

ALL my best,
